TIME3231 roughness meter is equipped with an extra-long stylus to measure the roughness of complex workpieces.
This portable TIME3231 surface form tester with contact probe is a new product produced by Beijing Time High Technology Ltd., designed for inspection of shop inspection station, lab and metering room etc. TIME3231 roughness meter is equipped with an extra-long stylus to measure the roughness of complex workpieces. It can be used to measure roughness, waviness and primary profile, with measurement parameters meeting international standards and developed country standards such as USA, Germany, Japan and U.K. etc. The measurement can be displayed on LCD in figure and/or graph, or output to printer. In addition, it can be connected with PC and analyzed by our advanced special analysis application. Large-scale differential conductive pickup is included in this instrument to obtain tested signal. For measurement of workpiece surface, put the pickup on the surface, it moves linearly at constant speed on tested surface driven by the motor, and the linear guide in motor may guarantee precision of linear track. TIME3231 roughness meter is equipped with an extra-long stylus to measure the roughness of complex workpieces. The pickup may scan the profile signal of tested surface via sharp diamond contact probe, now profile fluctuation of tested surface results in vertical displacement of contact probe, making changing of inductance of differential pickup induction coil accordingly. Such changing signal is modulated and amplified, and an analog signal proportional to profile of tested surface is generated from output of phase-sensitive detector. Such signal is amplified, converted and sent to data acquisition system, converted into serial data. Single-chip PC can filter these data and calculate. The measurement can be displayed on instrument LCD or output to printer, or analyzed and evaluated on connected PC.
