Industrial endoscopes are widely used in the petrochemical industry. Here is a brief introduction:

  1. Heat exchanger
Heat exchanger is a device for heat exchange. It is the only equipment in the chemical industry to reach the process temperature. It is also the most widely used and important equipment in the chemical industry. Endoscopes mainly detect the corrosion of heat exchange tubes in heat exchangers. During the manufacturing and use of heat exchange tubes with anti-corrosion coatings, endoscopes are also required to detect the integrity of the coatings. At present, many domestic chemical companies have many scrapped heat exchangers, some as many as dozens. These are scrapped due to corrosion of heat exchange tubes. Endoscopy can help customers detect problems early, thereby helping customers solve unplanned shutdowns.
  2. Heating furnace tube
Commonly used pressure reducing devices, catalytic reforming devices, hydrocracking devices, etc. in the petrochemical industry all have heating furnaces. Heating furnaces are widely used in the petrochemical industry and are the top priority of each device. Coking of the heating furnace tube greatly increases the temperature of the heating furnace tube, thereby increasing the oxidation and corrosion of the furnace tube. In severe cases, it may cause the rupture of the furnace tube. Therefore, endoscopes are used to detect the coking of the heating furnace tube during overhaul.
  3. Main pressure pipelines
Some pressure main pipelines connected to equipment in the petrochemical industry. This part of the pipeline belongs to the category of high temperature and high pressure. Once corrosion and foreign matter blockage occur inside, it can easily cause serious consequences such as pipeline explosion. Therefore, regular video inspection of the main pressure pipeline and the handling of internal problems are crucial to the safety of the entire system. .
  4. Coking workshop heating furnace tube
In the petrochemical industry, there are coking workshops. The medium in the heating furnace tubes of this workshop is generally residual oil. The concentration and viscosity of the medium are relatively high, making it easier for coking to form in the furnace tubes. After mechanical defocusing, an endoscope is required to detect whether there is still coking on the tube wall. The heating furnace tubes in the coking workshop are more likely to coke than the heating furnace tubes in other devices, so endoscope inspection is more necessary.
